Vanity Wonder, who is a well-known urban glamour model, wrote a book about the dangers of getting bootleg butt and hip injections from unlicensed underground cosmetic surgeons who are commonly called Shot Girls. The book, aptly titled ”Shot Girls,” details Vanity’s journey from stripper to renown urban glamour model–one seen on the pages of the most popular men’s magazines.

Vanity has given a few interviews about her book, but this latest one is probably the most intriguing because Wonder reveals much about herself and the underground world of body-conturing.
The interview below is a cautionary tale for the ladies who are considering such a drastic procedure, but it’s a lesson for the fellas as well.
Not everything that looks good is good for you!
Peep what Vanity says is the reason why she decided to have her hips and butt enlarged:
”After a year of being in the [strip club] environment and everyone was doing it, I was like well… It became a competition thing. Not necessarily a competition for men, but a competition against other women. We were doing it because we wanted to be better than the other one.”
Vanity continues, adding that she often received 120 injections at a time and that they were sealed with super glue. She claims her injection sites frequently leaked while she was dancing at clubs; and that she had to get more and more injections to cover the areas that became infected and hard. Vanity points to those added injections as the reason why her derriere is as big as it is. The mocha Bombshell insists she didn’t start out wanting to be as Bootylicious as she is now…it just kind of happened.
Y’all have to check out this revealing interview and get the facts straight from the horse’s mouth.
