Queen Latifah, whose talk show “The Queen Latifah Show“ will debut this fall, is scheduled to perform for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on April 16th. The White House is hosting a “Memphis Soul Concert” where artists like Justin Timberlate, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, and The Alabama Shakes will perform soul-stirring music for President Obama, his wife Michelle, and their invited guests. Queen Latifah Signs Ground-Breaking New Deal With Netflix!

Queen Latifah just signed a huge licensing deal with the streaming video service Netflix! Netflix will exclusively distribute movies produced by Latifah’s company Flavor Unit Films following each film’s theatrical release. Starting in spring 2013, Netflix subscribers will be able to exclusively enjoy Flavor Unit-produced movies like House of Bodies, starring Terrence Howard, and Percentage, starring Ving Rhames, Cam’ron and Macy Gray.
