Oh the struggle..! Last Saturday, Mona Scott-Young who is the founder of Monami Entertainment and the creator of tv franchise “Love And Hip Hop”, hosted her annual Monami Holiday Celebration at the Newark Museum in New Jersey.  More than 200 guests including LHHNY cast members Yandy Smith, Tahiry Jose, Joe Budden, Consequence, Rashidah Ali, Lore’l, Olivia Longott, Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled, stylist Misa Hylton, and radio hosts Angela Yee, K Foxx  attended the star-studded shindig. Love and Hip Hop series creator and Hip Hop Music Manager Mona Scott-Young is behind a brand new Atlanta-based series called “Taking Atlanta.” This new reality show will follow a group of “aspiring and ambitious” Atlanta, Georgia locals as they attempt to make their mark in fashion, music, hospitality (i.e. Hotels), and real estate.  Cameras will follow the young upstarts day and night…as they struggle to balance demanding careers and “tumultuous family situations.” “Taking Atlanta” will air on BRAVO TV alongside the network’s #1 reality series Real Housewives of Atlanta.
