In a series of Tweets earlier this week (NOW DELETED), M.I.A revealed Benjamin and his wealthy family are trying to take her 4-year-old son away. M.I.A. promised to release an album this year…along with an autobiographical book.  While M.I.A made good on the book promise (CLICK HERE IF YOU MISSED THAT)…the album is still a good while away from being released. Nevertheless, M.I.A gave fans an idea of the concept of her upcoming album at an event in New York yesterday.  During a discussion to promote her autobiography “M.I.A.” at the Queens outpost of the Museum of Modern Art, M.I.A spoke briefly about her upcoming album. Ludacris, who is known for his Crunk-style rap sound and super-fast lyrical delivery, has just hooked up with raptress M.I.A. for a brand new single.  The single was recorded for Luda’s new album Ludaversal (Expected 2013).  He Tweeted,

M.I.A. took to her seldom updated YouTube channel to show off her latest creative project, something simply titled “MIA ART BOOK.” In the video, the “Bad Girls“ singer stands in front of her computer as she films herself (semi maniacally) flipping through a portfolio. It’s cool… or something?

M.I.A. made a little noise earlier this year with an interesting all female collaboration called Bad Girls.  That song was the prelude to what could prove to be M.I.A”s most impressive album to date.  The Sri-Lanka born rapper revealed via Twitter the following about her forthcoming record: It’s ”still in the making,” has no track list set; and “could be 5 [songs] it could be 15 depends on what sounds good in my bros CAR.”  She added, the album features “no collabs,” nor producers that act like fame whores.
