Neyo rejected Amber Rose back in 2009.  Hard to believe isn’t it?

Here’s the story:

When Amber showed up to Neyo’s video audition for Independent Women, Neyo turned the Blonde Bombshell away…saying she was ‘too bald.’  Luckily Amber rebounded with a another artist’s music video a few months later.

After the upset of the Neyo audition, Amber auditioned for rapper Ludacris’ video “What Them Girls Like.”  And she landed a role in the pop-up style video.

When the video debuted, another rapper saw it and became “obsessed.”  That rapper was Kanye West.  West got Amber’s number and called to ask the Video Vixen out on a date.  After a little hesitation, Amber and Kanye went out.  With Yeezy’s co-sign, Amber became a household name.

Although her romance with Yeezy didn’t work out…Amber still “won.”  She got knocked up by another notable MC–Wiz Khalifa.

Interestingly, Neyo and Wiz Khalifa just debuted a song in which they collaborate.  It’s called “Don’t Make ‘Em Like You.”  I guess that collaboration is what sparked Amber to reminsce….
