Karlie Redd On “Love And Hip Hop” Drama: “Controversy Sells…I’m Making A Name For MYSELF!”

Karlie Redd spoke to LoveMyBlack.Com about the controversy “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” is stirring up just one week into the new series’ debut.

Karlie shares her opinions on fame and controversy, her game plan for staying out of drama, and what people should know about her.

“People love controversy.  Controversy sells.  Whatever people say about me…{I’m} making a name for myself!”

On fighting and why she thinks people watch “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta”…

“I try not to be involved in all the fighting…it’s my decision (not to fight…but people watch shows because it’s their own reality.”

So, what was her approach going in to a show famous for cat fights and arguments?

“I’m not gonna fight!  That’s all i kept thinking.  That was my approach going in…”

On if she feels responsible for what other cast members do or portray on the show…

“It’s up to each person to take responsibility for their own actions.  I can’t be responsible for every person on every reality show.”

What does Karlie Redd want the public to know about her…

“Karlie is classy, representing women all around the world.  [My mindset is] Failure is not an option.  [I hope women look at me and understand they] ”…can do whatever [they] want to do.”
