Well, well, well!

Just when you think Kanye West is one of the most innovative Hip Hop artists on the planet…you find out the Chicago-bred MC is a copy-catting theme stealer just like the other rap cats!!!

This week Kanye West made A LOT of waves when he Tweeted:

“I wrote the song Perfect Bitch about Kim.”

The MC was referring to his latest romance with reality star and Hollywood Player Kim Kardashian.  Everybody jumped on that Tweet and the Internet buzzed about Kanye calling Kim K.  his “perfect b*tch” and Kim being flattered by the compliment.   We were all ready to promote the f*ck out of “Perfect B*tch” just like the other media holding Kanye’s nutz…UNTIL a little birdie pointed us to another song CONVENIENTLY TITLED “Perfect Bitch.”  That song was released 10 years ago by low-key rap artist/actor Fredro Starr (Moesha fans will remember him).

“Perfect B*tch” by Fredro Starr  uses the exact same title and concept as West’s 2012 single by the same name.  Before you dismiss our comparison of the 2 songs AND OUR decision to label our Chicago brother Kanye West…A “COPY CAT”, peep the lyrics to Starr’s version of the profane-titled song:

Kanye debuted “Perfect Bitch” during his DJ set at the PH-D Rooftop Lounge in New York City early Saturday morning.  Observers noted the song referenced Kanye’s “perfect girl” describing her physically as curvaceous and ample-bottomed.  The song also supposedly references Kanye’s ex Amber Rose.

“Perfect B*tch” doesn’t just copy Fredro Starr’s concept.  The sure-to-be-hit song also copies a sample that appeared on the Diddy-Nas hit “Hate Me Now” back in 1999.

Kanye recently announced  his music is the best modern Hip Hop fans can get.  He said (and this is a quote):

“…My music is perfect! This is the best you gon’ get ladies and gentlemen in this lifetime, I’m sorry. You go back to Beethoven and sh-t, but as far as this lifetime though, this is all you got.”

“Perfect B*tch” reportedly will appear on Kanye’s soon-to-be-released LP, Cruel Summer–in stores September 2012.
