Azealia Banks Boycotts Fashion House Dolce & Gabbana For ‘Mammie’ Looking Spring Collection!

Azealia Banks, who’s beefs with Jim Jones, Lil Kim, T.I., Nicki Minaj, and Iggy Azalea have made headlines this year…is now locked in a beef with fashion house Dolce & Gabbana.  Azealia Tweeted her disdain for the 2013 Spring Collection Dolce & Gabanna debuted in Milan last month, calling the African-inspired collection ‘racist.’

Here’s what she Tweeted:

“Whoever designed that racist a** Dolce and Gabbana collection needs a swift kick in the mouth and a big d**k up the a**,”

“I really hate when people do corny, racist things then try to justify it as ‘art.’ It’s all just really unnecessary. The clothes in the collection were fine without all the “black mammie” imagery.”

Dolce & Gabbana site their Sicilian roots as the inspiration for their controversial new collection.  The design team says they grew up in Sicily where African women with ‘burlap dresses and’  ornate ‘cornucopias on their head’ were commonly seen.

NEVERTHELESS…Critics like Azealia aren’t impressed with D&G’s ’Mammi-fied’ collection.  It could be the design house’s BIGGEST faux pas….OR NOT!!!  You decide!
